Did you know that my home in Birkenshaw was once a cricket bat factory? The building, formerly known as Myers Hall, used to produce cricket bats, and I even own one with ‘Myers Hall, Birkenshaw’ stamped on it. My house and my two neighbours' homes were originally part of the same building, making it a fascinating little piece of local history!
